For my recent photoshoot, Succubus, I collaborated with my friend Abby to explore an alluring, bold, and chaotic vision inspired by the video game Lollipop Chainsaw. For this shoot, I aimed to merge the gory and the glamorous, blending seductive and horror elements to create a character who is sexy, playful, and fearlessly chaotic. Abby brings this vision to life, embodying a vixen-like character who is sassy, assertive, and alluring, with an intensity that feels raw, thrilling, and almost unreal.
I loved the use of vibrant colors, it was a huge factor in capturing the balance between darkness and desire. Every gritty detail amplified the tension between attraction and destruction. This photoshoot fully embraces the beauty and grotesque within chaos, showcasing the thrill of intense messiness and the twisted appeal of glamorized chaos. Concepts like lust, nastiness, darkness, and beauty inspired it. In a way, this shoot also explores the complexity of femininity, challenging traditional ideas of glamor and fear while pushing the boundaries of what it means to be both captivating and powerful. A vivid exploration where sweetness collides with darkness, and desire intertwines with chaos.
